Thoughts on Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (a kind of review)
Uhhhh I think this film is a decent sequel, both the bits on the island and at the house have their good bits, but after they get off the island some scenes drag on. I feel like some of this time could have been instead allocated to seeing more of the island and the aftermath of Jurassic World. I do like some of the scenes and how they build tension, with the opening being particularly strong. Some of the camera work was very nice, some less so. Finally, while I enjoyed some characters and the relationship between Owen and Blue, I still feel both leads could have been given a bit more depth and/or development.
