Edwards Coaches won the contract for Cardiff University's Uni Hall service from New Adventure Travel in 2011, who in turn had won it from Veolia. This links various halls of residence with the main campus north of the City Centre on Mondays to Fridays during term time.
Four Dennis Tridents - one with Plaxton President bodywork and three with Alexander ALX400 - were the regular performers.
This shot from November 2015 shows Alexander ALX400-bodied Y8 EDW picking up in Park Place in the City Centre.
She was new to London United in dual-door configuration as SN53 KJV and was acquired by Edwards from Holmeswood Coaches in September 2013, having lost her centre door and having received a set of dual-purpose seats for her new role, which also included the use on school contracts requiring seatbelts.
The Uni Hall contract continues and is now in the hands of Adventure Travel:
