Classic Shape - 3
Richards Bros operated three 'classic shape' Enviro300s from the Transbus era and all were former demonstrators.
Whilst SN03 DZL and SN53 KKZ were 12m variants, SN03 LFU was a 12.6m example seating 50. She arrived in 2006 and was allocated to Newport depot primarily for Services 411 (St Davids-Solva-Newgale-Haverfordwest) and 412 (Cardigan-Newport-Fishguard-Haverfordwest).
I caught up with her in Haverfordwest in April 2009 when she was returning to Cardigan on Service 412.
Unfortunately she made the headlines in January 2014 when stormy seas breached the sea defences in Newgale and hit her off the coast road and into a field, leading to her demise.
