Alternative Roles - 2
Adventure Travel holds the Transport for Wales contract for Service T6 (Swansea-Neath-Crynant-Ystradgynlais-Sennybridge-Brecon), which is operated from Swansea depot with six 11.5m Optare MetroCitys - OM162-7. The first four carry the red, white and grey TrawsCymru livery, whilst OM166 and OM167 are technically the spares and carry magenta and pink.
They were intended to replace Optare Tempos on Service T9 (Cardiff-Cardiff Airport), but that ended in 2020 due to world events. Instead, after a period in storage, they replaced four of the company's 65-plate MetroCitys on the T6 in 2021.
Magenta and pink OM167 is captured on Bulwark in Brecon passing the Monkey Tree when returning to Swansea in November 2024.
