With Welsh Government funding through Powys County Council, Stagecoach in South has recently received 12 MCV eVoRa-bodied Volvo B8RLEs (21351-62) for Traws Cymru Services T4 (Newtown-Llandrindod Wells-Builth Wells-Brecon-Merthyr Tydfil-Pontypridd-Cardiff) and T14 (Hereford-Hay-on-Wye-Talgarth-Brecon-Merthyr Tydfil-Pontypridd-Cardiff). These are operated from Merthyr Tydfil and its Brecon outstation.
The Volvos have replaced Optare Tempos (25107/8/16-8), Alexander Dennis Enviro300-bodied MANs (22780/1/5/91) and Alexander Dennis Enviro300-bodied Scanias (28733-5) on the services.
The Cantref Reservoir on the A470, north of Nant Ddu, provides the backdrop for 21354 on a T14 working to Hereford in early July 2019.
