When Lewis Coaches of Llanrhystud abruptly ceased trading in August 2016, Ceredigion CC-contracted Service 585 (Aberystwyth-Tregaron-Lampeter) passed to Lloyds Coaches of Machynlleth, with one of the two vehicle workings sub-contracted to Evans Coaches of Tregaron.
Lewis operated a pair of 14-plate Optare Versas on the contract, and the Optare theme has continued with Lloyds using a 14-plate Versa and Evans a 66-plate MetroCity.
