New Rhondda
Porth-based Thomas of Rhondda is predominantly a coach operator, but maintains a small number of buses for Rhondda Cynon Taf CBC-contracted services in the Rhondda Fawr and Rhondda Fach, branded as "Local Link".
Unusual Plaxton Primos have been the popular choice in recent years. However, a pair of new Alexander Dennis E20Ds, with some of the last examples of the 'traditional' bodywork, have now been received carrying fleetnumbers 173T and 175T to denote their usual allocations.
175T is seen passing along Rheola Road in Porth on a wet day in mid December 2016 when operating Service 175 (Tonypandy-Porth). She had just passed the operator's depot, which was onced owned by National Welsh and Rhondda Transport, and is on a site shared with Stagecoach in South Wales.
