Stop Gap

First Cymru's Pontardawe depot operated a Powys County Council short-term contract for Service X63 (Swansea-Neath-Ystradgynlais-Sennybridge-Brecon) between September and December 2012. This was after the former contract with Crossgates Coaches (successor to Veolia Transport Cymru) ended and before a long term contract was let with New Adventure Travel.

Three Wright Eclipse Urban-bodied Volvo B7RLEs (66958/60/1) were transferred from First Somerset & Avon for the contract in the October. However, for the first few weeks, a varied collection of coaches was used.

These are represented by Irizar Century-bodied Scania 23202, which was one of a number that had transferred from First Coaches' Bristol fleet for National Express contracts, though had since been relegated to contract operations. She is captured picking up at Ystradgynlais Cross for Brecon during the first fortnight.

Buses no longer use the two stops illustrated as a result of the opening of the Interchange (Bus Station in old money) in 2014, and the X63 was replaced by "Traws Cymru" Service T6, operated by New Adventure Travel, in September 2016.
