Penrhys in the Rhondda is a village come housing estate that is 1,100 ft above sea level, straddling the Fawr and the Fach. It's therefore no stranger to inclement weather, as illustrated in this March 2013 shot after unexpectedly heavy snow fall the previous night as our Scania nears the end of the long climb from Tylorstown, Porthcawl bound.
