Brecon Bound

Stagecoach in South Wales operates the Powys County Council contract for "Traws Cymru" Service T4 (Newtown-Llandrindod Wells-Builth Wells-Brecon-Merthyr Tydfil), which extends to Pontypridd and Cardiff as a commercial operation. This is operated jointly by Merthyr Tydfil depot and its Brecon outstation, requiring nine vehicles - five from Merthyr and four from Brecon - which rotate to ensure that they return to Merthyr for maintenance purposes.

Nine Optare Tempos have been provided by Powys County Council since 2005, with funding from the Welsh Government, and these carry the now familiar green and white Crosville Wales-inspired livery for the service.

25108 is one of the 12m variants supplied in Spring 2012, and is captured heading north on the A470 a couple of miles south of Libanus in this June 2013 view.
