If the train had a number, it was never used on the dispatcher's line. It could run 80 cars long. Yes it was a heck of a train to be doing local switching, but it did weekdays. These photos were taken while I was the agent substituting for the vacationing regular agent at Milledgeville (in northwestern Illinois) on the CB&Q's single-track mainline between Aurora and Savanna. The Pick Up was a regular visitor each morning.
