C&NW 509 with Train 333 at Main St., Evanston, IL on July 6, 1981. She was an E8A built 5/53 as UP 940. Utah Rails says, "Sold to Regional Transportation Authority (RTA), 31 December 1977; leased back to C&NW for operation. Sold to Naporano Iron & Metal, Naporano, N.J., June and July 1985, scrapped."
Note the two single deck club cars and the Hancock Building under the signal tower.
