This just goes to show the depth of the bottomless pit of curious photos taking up space on my computer: Here we have images of Feemster's Famous Vegetable Slicer; up next is Ron Popeil's Veg-O-Matic. Items I saw in thrift stores — taken a year apart, though — and I'd forgotten about both of them until I came across them tonight. Now they're here, for all to enjoy, and finally off my hard drive!
Like the Veg-O-Matic, I was enchanted by this thing, but even at the low, low price of $1.95, I didn't buy it. I kinda wish I did. I mean, it was less than two bucks! What was I thinking?! The liver spots on the hand model alone (presumably Mrs. Feemster) was worth the price!
