Sugar Pines in the Mist

This photo was taken amongst a small copse of almost 100 year old sugar pines near Laurel Hill in NSW Australia and these trees have been protected from the logging in the area. They form a natural cathedral and are over 1000 metres above sea level. Whilst they look great after snow they can also be appealing in sunlight or in mist as in this case. It is two shots from a bracketed exposure- one for the trees and one for the light between the trees. 28mm, iso 100, f16, 4 seconds and 15 seconds
