Ghost Ship
The SS Speke was a 3 masted steel ship that hit a reef east of Kitty Miller Bay on Phillip Island in 1906. Much of the wreck has been salvaged by locals but some parts remain near the shore. Rumour has it that this wreck is haunted by a ghost and it certainly can look dark and foreboding in the shadows. During this 163 second exposure, the wreck received some beautiful warm side light whose appearance was captured during the long exposure. A 10 stop ND filter and circular polariser were also used.
