Photo #3

Objective 3: Composition Techniques – Use the guide on the website

1. Rule of Thirds- The tree in the photo is not in the middle which makes it look better to the eye.

2. Perspective and depth-This photo has good perspective and depth because the perspective makes the tree look bigger, and the depth also does.

3. Fill the Frame- The tree fills most of the frame but not all of it

4. Backgrounds- The background is simple because it is mostly blue and it is a sky which is simple

7. Texture- The leaves in the photo give it some texture because there is many of them together

9. Colour-This image has some cool colour with the blue sky, the green of the leaves would be warm and cool

10. Space- There is a lot of negative space in the image which makes us see the tree better

Objective 4: Lighting (side, back, soft, hard, fill)

This photo has side lighting because it was mid-morning and the light was coming from the side. It has hard lighting because the sun was really bright

I cropped the image, I also sharpened it, I resized it to put it on Flickr.
