It's 30 years ago. Wow! How time flies! I lived in an apartment two blocks above the Peekskill, NY train station with a lovely view of both sides of the Hudson River. On many evenings I'd walk down the spiral Raqua street to the railroad and hike north to Bear Mountain Bridge and photograph everything along the way while keeping a close eye to the ground for northern copperheads. This spot at Ros Hook was always a stop to get one of the several northbound rush trains and it was no different on this day. An all to regular pair of FL-9's lead new "Bomb" cars racing in notch 8 for Pougkeepsie. So regular, I've probably passed on 100s of photo possibilities because, they all looked the same.
