Puarangi - "flower of an hour"

Couldn't help taking another photo of this flower this morning on a stroll through the Esplanade, Palmerston North.

 

Puarangi (Hibiscus trionum) - evidently called "flower of an hour" because the flowers only last a fraction of a day.
