Thirukoneshwaram - Trincomalee

Visited the Thirukoneswaram Temple or the Thirukonamalai Konesar Temple in Trincomalee on September 12, 2016 with my family.
Thirukoneswaram Temple is known as the Temple of the Thousand Pillars. It is one the Pancha Ishwarams dedicated to Lord Shiva. Built during the reign of the early Cholas and the Five Dravidians of the Early Pandyan Kingdom atop Konesar Malai, a promontory overlooking Gokarna bay or Trincomalee Bay.
