Gollum's Pool

Gollum was filmed here for The Lord of the Rings.

 

Smeagol jumps into the water as hidden onlookers tell Frodo that "to enter the Forbidden Pool carries the penalty of death."

 

Smeagol catches a fish and sings to himself:

"The rocks and pool

Is nice and cool

So juicy sweet

Our only wish

To catch a fish

So juicy sweet."

 

But that's just part of the magic of this waterfall... (And the water really is that delightful shade of blue).
