Five years ago, Intel undertook an effort to ensure that its products are free of conflict minerals which are extracted and sold to finance armed terror groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Mr. Krzanich and Michael Posner, Co-Director of the Center for Business and Human Rights discussed how Intel considered this human rights issue and how the company approaches other challenges in its global supply chain and business operations.
