Degrees of Difficulty

Tracking Azimuth and elevation for a metal bird in the sky making a 7-20 minute transit through the sky 600-1300 miles up, and sometimes 4500 miles down range. Quite a challenge with only 5 watts and a hand-held antenna. About 120 satellite contacts in 11 countries, 4 continents and 74 geographic grid zones on the earth. Quite an accomplishment.
