c/n 32338 first flew at Everett on the 26th April 2001 before being delivered to Virgin Atlantic on the 15th May 2001. The aircraft was originally ordered by Italian flag carrier Alitalia. The aircraft was named 'Hot Lips' on delivery. The aircraft flew its final passenger flight for VS on the 17th March 2020 as VS66 from Montego Bay to London-Gatwick. The aircraft positioned up to Manchester as VS847P on the 24th March 2020 for storage. After the decision to retire all Virgin's 747's with immediate effect the aircraft left Manchester for Ciudad-Real on the 15th June as VS844P.
