c/n 432 first flew at Toulouse Blagnac on the 9th of October 2001 as F-WWYG before being delivered to ILFC and leased to LTU as D-ALPB on the 9th of November 2001. During early 2009 Air Berlin acquired LTU and the aircraft was transferred to Air Berlin on the 17th of April 2009. Air Berlin entered bankruptcy proceedings during August 2017 and was wound down with long haul flights ending by late September 2017. The aircraft was flown to Shannon for storage on the 29th of September before being registered to DVB Bank on the 8th of December as G-VMIK. The aircraft was delivered to Virguin Atlantic at Gatwick as G-VMIK on the 29th of January 2018 and was named 'Honkytonk Woman' after the song by Mick Jagger. Current. March 2018.
