15.03.19. On 3 March TM Travel re-routed service 218 (Sheffield - Bakewell) to take it off the most congested section of Abbeydale Road and it now runs via Psalter Lane, Banner Cross, Parkhead and then along a section of Abbey Lane which has possibly never before had a bus service. Before joining Abbeydale Road South at Millhouses buses run through Ecclesall woods, where this Scania was photographed. Unfortunately the primary objective of improving reliability seems not to have been achieved, on this occasion at least - this is the 1510 from Sheffield and it should have been in Baslow by the time the photo was taken.
