Andrew's of Tideswell are heavily involved in home-to-school transport and their fleet includes this impressive Stagecoach-specification tri-axle Volvo, seen here in Bakewell on the afternoon run from Lady Manners School to Grindleford on service 940. The coach has been shortened by removal of part of the rear overhang but still manages to accommodate 82 seats; even in this form the left turn out of King Street (to the side of the Rutland Arms Hotel) into Rutland Square is an exceptionally tight maneouvre.
