Marching medals

Dutch marching medals from the 50's and 60's.

 

Everyone who completed a march was entitled to a medal. A medal would be handed to you in accordance with the number of marches you had totally completed so far.

 

The first medal was a medal and so was every fifth or tenth one. The successive numbers were "numbers" which could be fitted onto the medal.
