Shrink wrapped 2262

Ex Aurizon loco 2262 which was sold and sent to South Africa in July 2015 was purchased by Genesee and Wyoming along with another 4 of the 2250 class for the Whyalla narrow gauge operations. On 11-10-19, 2262 sits on the docks at Port Adelaide after arriving back from South Africa and is in Quarantine before heading to Port Augusta for reactivation and repaint
