Where locos rust in peace
Tucked away deep in the middle of the Port Augusta workshops is a mix of different operator's locos, all stored most likely to never run again, including Pacific National's S307,8007 which arrived at Port Augusta for storage in May 2018 but previously stored at the AFT as well as all 3 cabless XRB class, built in 2005/2006 they have been stored at Port Augusta for a number of years after a short life.
One Rail Australia's GM44 can be seen just hiding behind a tree having been withdrawn at the end of 2007.
SCT's T404 is also stored, probably the most recent of the stored locos
