Milkweed

I have been driving home each night past a pond that has some milkweed by the roadway. The Sun is at the perfect angle and these come alive for a few minutes just as I am driving by. Every night I regret that I don't have my camera. I had the day off today so I got my camera and shot this. Unfortunately it was cloudy but I still love the way it looks. I may be weird but I am taken back by the simple elegance of this seed pod. So there you have my milkweed story.
