Finally found a sunflower field
There was a time farmers in the area planted many acres of sunflowers and one field was just on the edge of town.
It seemed five years or so farmers changed over to canola instead of sunflowers.
We'd been all over places out of town where we'd find a sunflower field however with no luck . It was late in the season and a gal to a gal who often gave us tips where they'd be called us and said her husband was way out in the countryside and came home saying there was a large sunflower field.
She gave us directions and found this huge field and would one of our last photo shoots together. We were so busy packing and moving boxes.
Sure wish farmers would go back to the sunflowers and perhaps in time they will.
