negative affects

“Internet use detracts from face to face time with others, which might diminish an individual social capital” (Ellison, Steinfield and Lampe, 2007 p 352) With the media becoming digital we face the issue of the interference and distraction that this network may pose to daily life. Reading a newspaper only had one function now when the news is viewed on multifunction devices time spent in solitude may increase as a result.
