It is said that eyes are the window of the soul, which quickly leads us to the spiritual nature behind this junction of cosmic lines.
In the christian religion the eye represents the power of God in the soul of the follower, meaning that God is watching over you. In Egypt the eye represents protection and life. Besides this, what makes me wonder the most is the existence of the third eye. The connection between this body of ours and whatever supernatural elements may exist along the universe, beyond or even inside our little machine.
This third eye is meant to fly us to states of higher consciousness, it is meant to provide us with perception beyond what our eyes normally capture. It is said that all of us are in posetion of this cosmic eye, it opens when we connect our mind to all of our own senses, causing a reaction which allows us to notice the patterns in our life. The third eye allows us to understand hidden connections between questions and answers. So basically it helps us process the images that our two eyes receive along the way, through the connection of these images with our senses and the information already stored in our brain.
By processing the things that happen to us on a daily basis we become more aware of our surroundings and we actually live one day at a time understanding the signs of the universe to guide us into the next day.
This work is made to remind us the understanding of our self being. Through the feathers of the Native American crown there are hidden eyes, some of them represented by the Ying&Yang symbol. The naked breast and the craving for the other one is a way to express the acceptance of our own body.
