Day 11: Doi Inthanon
To see the surrounding area of Chiang Mai, we rented a motorcycle and decided to drive up Doi Inthanon National park. Although riding a motorcycle in Thailand is not like riding at home, the roads were (mostly) good and as long as you adapt to the traffic, all goes well. Most Thai are very courteous and polite so any form of road-rage would be rare.
Higher up in the hills, the air was fresh and cooler. The site of two monuments, build for the king and queen were beautiful.
It was quite a ride from and to Chiang Mai, and I wasn't looking forward to riding at night but I couldn't resist an other amazing sunset.
