Ruby <3

My favourite kids to coach are the ones that absolutely never give up. Ruby insisted on playing centre in every game despite her weak ankles, which had to be strapped for every practice and game.

My co-coach and I always kept an eye on her to make sure she was okay, but she never paused for long enough for us to take her off the court and always finished the game purple in the face with a massive grin.
