Methods and Materials Film Version 2
This video was influenced by Elizabeth Price's Turner Prize winning
submission, The Woolworth's Choir of 1979. I was intrigued by her fast
editing style and her infusion of text and sound with visual footage.
All of the footage is my own, part recorded from a found Super 8 film
reel that I projected onto a wall, and part taken on a DSLR camera at
the local park. Themes of place and location have been frequenting my
work within this module, as I find myself exploring the nostalgia of
the past against the present truth of adjusting to life away from home.
