Early Canada Day
A few hours ahead of Canada Day I wish all my friends north of the border a good holiday. On Sept. 13 , 2023 a late season work train is returning to Carcross, Yukon with Surprise Mountain in the background. Earlier in the day the mountain had a fresh dusting of snow. Alco DL 535E # 104, 109 are on the head end and van # 901 bringing up the rear. They are passing the station and will tie up next to the small red building on the left which is now the railroad office.
