Empty log

The Cartier empty log train at the time was always a late afternoon departure from Port Cartier. On a lucky day there was daylight for the first 50 miles. On this day it was a late start. Here RS-18 # 64, 68 cross the Riviere aux Rochers bridge and are about to cross the park road at Able, Quebec 730PM June 14, 1999.
