Last of its kind

Once common on the coast of Maine this shed was part of McCurdy's Smokehouse the last traditional smoked -herring facility in the U.S. A Jan. 2018 blizzard tore the brine shed away. In the background is the Mulholland Lighthouse on Campobello Island, New Brunswick
