Looking pretty small in this scene VIA Chaleur is minutes into there westbound trip having just left Gaspe. F40PH-2 # 6402, 6408 Douglastown, Quebec Oct. 7, 2006. Two crews will split the run between Gaspe and Matapedia with a crew change at New Carlisle. By October daylight is gone around Port Daniel on the westbound trip.
