Nathaniel James(Nat) Finn was born at Pichi Richi Pass in 1870.
He moved to Farina with his parents William and Jane (nee Hatfield), and his brothers William and James and sister Lucinda in 1885.
Nat married Lucy Evans in 1896. He purchased a house in Farina with his brother in 1889, and worked around Farina as a labourer, dam sinker, fencer, checking the dog fence and as a camel trainer. He and Lucy had seven daughters.
Their daughter Dorothy (Dolly) left in 1944 and was the last Finn to leave Farina.
