Stabled ready for the last train of the day at the Diesel Gala, the resident Class 40's rest alongside Bury South Signal box 24th September 2016. They would be 'top & tailing' with their sister locomotives 213 & 40106 to complete the return journey up to Rawtenstall and back. In the background can be seen some of the volunteer staff on their way home from a shift at the preservation site.
