Caught in the Act

I finally caught this Male American Goldfinch in the process of picking the petals off of these freshly opened Zinnias. For over a week, Larry and I could not figure out why the petals were disappearing from this pot of flowers. Even though the flowers now look even worse than this, it is hard to be mad at this handsome fellow since he looks so cute while he is doing it :)
