Karanji Nature Reserve surrounds Karanji Lake, Mysore. It contains an avery and butterfly park as well as tourist facilities. The Mysore Natural History Museum is also within its grounds. Indian Spot-billed Ducks (Anas poecilorhyncha) are common on the lake.
