Awaiting departure on local service 3 at the newly built Hemel Hemstead bus interchange is Arriva the shires (KE51PTO 3501) a 2001 Plaxton bodied Dennis Dart that is one of only two Dennis Darts still in service at the Hemel depot. It and sister vehicle (KE51PYU) still operate daily on local town services.
