On Saturday, 20/10/2012, with the permission of the Forest Service of Parnitha, opened the outdoor exhibition "The Park of Souls" by sculptor and artist Spiros Ntasioti and forest officer.
The exhibition hosts twenty sculptures with a height of not more than 4.5 meters.
The sculptures are carved from burnt logs from the Parnitha fire in 2007, giving an excellent result. Lies-not random-just opposite the old Sanatorium of Parnitha (formerly Xenia).

The Sanatorium opened in 1912 and for almost 30 years hospitalized patients suffering from tuberculosis away from their loved ones and their families. In this space was hospitalized in late 1937 for about 6 months Yannis Ritsos, where he wrote the "Spring Symphony".

Mr. Spyros Ntasiotis selflessly and with utmost sensitivity that can distinguish one man created the "Park of Souls" in memory of those who suffered and their last breath in the Sanatorium.
