Single lens reverse macro. Used a reversing ring to attach a reversed lens to the camera. In this case an old Nikon Nikkor-S Auto 1:1.2 f=55mm from the good old film days. What I like about this lens is the ability to open it up to focus and then being able to stop it down to capture the light. Using a Macro reverse ring camera mount for Canon EOS camera (NIKO LMC-1 52mm adaptor).
This system is a great starting point or way of experimenting with macro photography. I have a true macro lens which I use alot, but this is fun cause it is a bit of a challange AND its cheep. So you lose all the automatic features of your camera and have to shoot in manual mode.
There was a little cropping done on this image to remove a light flair and I have no idea what power of magnification is involved. Focusing was done by moving back and forth.
