Eurasion Otter (Lutra lutra).

An Otter relaxing on the loch bank on the Isle of Mull.

 

We were lucky to watch this fabulous creature for a couple of hours as it kept hunting, and then returning to the bank to feed, or sleep.

 

Meanwhile the rain kept on falling, so we were soaked and cold before we were able to leave her after she had casually swam away.
