The end of steam on British Railways

I made three trips north in 1968 - one to Manchester Victoria and Exchange Stations, the second was a Branch Line Society trip to three steam depots and the third was to see the steam rail tours on the last weekend of steam working (the 15 Guinea Special) ran the following weekend. The photos are all scans of colour slides taken on my old Minolta A6 fixed lens camera.

I am adding a few older photos taken on a Kodak Instamatic camera on the Southern Region of British Railways - quality 'iffy' but important memories for me.
