The question I am researching is “How do people perceive different smiles?” This is a photo I came up with through my internet research. It really expresses the sort of thing I’m trying to get at. These different sets of teeth apparently mean different things to the person who posted it. I seriously do not see a difference in them. They are just teeth, and very similar looking ones for that matter, yet apparently they portray “aggressiveness” or “youthfulness”? The website I pulled it from was this one: www.cosmetic-dentistry-and-porcelain-veneers.com/2012/02/...
He’s a cosmetic dentist, so I suppose he’d want to get people thinking that the way their teeth look express different things but I’m interested in why people would believe that or if it is true, what makes it that way?
